This Grade II listed barn had faced more than 20 years of unsuccessful planning applications. Despite this, we managed to secure full planning and listed building consent at the first attempt, with a carefully considered proposal that balances historic sensitivity with contemporary design.

Our approach preserved the barn’s inherent character while introducing the elements required for modern living. Discreet, minimalist storage maximises functionality and space, supported by thoughtful detailing throughout.

Internally, natural textures and modern finishes combine to create a calm, refined atmosphere. Bespoke joinery, exposed beams, and soft lighting add depth and warmth—delivering a tranquil, inviting home perfectly suited for relaxation.
