Our brief involved a comprehensive refurbishment and a series of sensitive extensions, delivering bespoke, high-end spaces designed for contemporary living. Through careful massing, subtle form, and a considered material palette, the new interventions connect seamlessly to the original brickwork, referencing the building’s distinctive chimney stacks and gabled forms.

At the heart of the home, a bronze feature fireplace anchors the main living space, which is oriented to capture framed garden views through picture windows and a high-performance “disappearing” glass wall. Generous pocket sliding doors open the interiors directly onto historic gardens and courtyards, dissolving the threshold between house and landscape and creating a fluid indoor–outdoor experience.
