Home Farm
Set within open Cambridgeshire farmland, Home Farm is a new 5-bedroom family Passivhaus that responds to landscape, context, and modern building technology.
Inspired by rural vernacular forms, the house is conceived as four interconnected barn-like volumes, each with a distinct function. A central vaulted entrance, defined by a bespoke timber roof structure, links the living spaces and frames private views across front and rear courtyards.
Designed to Passivhaus standards—with high-performance insulation, super-efficient heating systems, and strategic glazing to prevent summer overheating—the home is engineered to use up to 90% less energy than a typical house of its size.
This is a dwelling that connects to its environment, elevates daily living, and demonstrates how performance and beauty can coexist.
