The practice is led by directors Adam Leigh-Brown and Barry Wark, who met whilst working in an architect’s office in London many years ago.

Adam leads the technical and environmental direction of the practice, bringing extensive experience in project management, construction delivery and Passivhaus certification. His longstanding interest in the natural world supports a focus on comprehensive detailing and low-energy performance.

Barry leads the conceptual and design work. His teaching, writing and research into computation and ecology shape an approach that brings contemporary tools and thinking into architectural production.

Together, their combined expertise of over 30 years in practice produces work that is both grounded in detail and ambitious in intent.
